Sally grew up on the Mid North Coast of NSW, Australia and from a young age has had a
strong interest in Wildlife Conservation and Animal Welfare.
Sally qualified as a Veterinarian in 2008 at Murdoch University in Perth, Western Australia
and prior to becoming a wildlife veterinarian she practiced veterinary nursing and studied
Zoology and Sports Science.
Sally has spent the last 15 years travelling between South Africa and Australia working with a
variety of wildlife species as well as domestic farm animals and pets. Sally has been
fortunate to have experience working with many wildlife species in South Africa, including
rhinos where she assisted in a number of research and rhino dehorning projects.
Sally first started taking small groups to South Africa in 2014 whilst operating a mobile
veterinary business in Australia. Motivated by a strong passion for wildlife she started these
safaris with the purpose of encouraging people to become actively involved in conservation
by providing them with the opportunity to participate in many very unique and exciting
experiences. Sally’s aim is to educate people and generate awareness for the plight of
wildlife through positive and ethical wildlife interactions. She hopes that by creating
awareness and giving people this unique opportunity people will be inspired to want to
make a difference to their long term survival.
A significant effort has been made to ensure that each and every wildlife establishment we
visit and individuals we work with are genuinely dedicated to the conservation of wildlife.
Your financial contribution provides valuable support and ensures that the many species of
wildlife we have the privilege of meeting has the very best chance at a long and bright
future.
